Technical Writer
About the Role
Great products need great documentation. TechSaaS builds complex software across AI, cloud infrastructure, and multi-industry SaaS — and we need a Technical Writer who can make it all understandable, accessible, and even enjoyable to read.
You will create API documentation, user guides, architectural overviews, blog content, and internal knowledge bases. You will work directly with engineers and product managers to translate technical concepts into clear, well-structured prose.
This role is ideal for someone who loves technology, writes clearly, and takes pride in making complex topics accessible to diverse audiences.
What You Will Do
- Write and maintain API documentation, SDK guides, and integration tutorials
- Create user-facing help documentation and onboarding guides for SaaS products
- Develop internal knowledge bases covering architecture, runbooks, and procedures
- Produce technical blog content for SEO and thought leadership
- Review and edit documentation written by engineers for clarity and consistency
- Establish documentation standards, templates, and style guides
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams during feature development
What We Are Looking For
- Excellent technical writing skills with a portfolio of published work
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Experience with documentation tools (Markdown, GitBook, Docusaurus, or similar)
- Basic understanding of software development concepts (APIs, databases, cloud)
- Strong editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable working with engineers and reading code to understand features
- Experience with version control (Git) for documentation-as-code workflows
Nice to Have
- Programming experience in any language (Python, JavaScript, Go)
- Experience writing for developer audiences (API docs, SDK guides)
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for technical content
- Familiarity with diagramming tools (Mermaid, Excalidraw, draw.io)
