Backend Developer
About the Role
TechSaaS products handle real workloads: resume parsing at scale, payment processing, document management, and multi-tenant SaaS platforms. We need a Backend Developer who can design APIs and services that are fast, reliable, and maintainable.
Our backend stack spans Node.js (TypeScript), Go, and Python, with PostgreSQL as the primary database alongside Redis, MongoDB, and vector databases for specialized use cases. You will work with Docker, message queues, and event-driven architectures.
You should be comfortable owning services end-to-end: from API design and database schema to monitoring and on-call support.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices in Node.js, Go, or Python
- Model data schemas and optimize database performance across PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB
- Build event-driven architectures using message queues and webhook systems
- Implement authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant isolation patterns
- Write comprehensive tests and maintain high code coverage standards
- Design systems for horizontal scalability and graceful degradation
- Create API documentation and contribute to backend engineering standards
What We Are Looking For
- Strong proficiency in at least one of: Node.js (TypeScript), Go, or Rust
- Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and query optimization
- Experience designing and documenting RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of caching strategies with Redis or similar in-memory stores
- Understanding of authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML)
- Experience with Docker and container-based deployment workflows
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with Go or Rust for high-performance services
- Knowledge of event sourcing or CQRS patterns
- Experience with GraphQL or gRPC
- Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search
